Tonight is Dooms Night @ PNE in Vancouver.  I'll be there from roughly midnight till around eight in the morning. Going to keep this update short and sweet, I've been busy as usual, but will dedicate Sunday to blog reading and writing new posts.

Someone asked if that was me in the profile picture, and yes, it is; Although my hair is not dyed like that anymore.  What's in store in my future posts?  Asides from a whole lot of awesome, I decided to try and add something different but awesome for each day of the week, tell me what you think, or feel free to offer suggestions.

Halloween Weekend Music

Hey everyone, finished up my last midterm yesterday, and bracing myself for a (hopefully) memorable and exciting Halloween.  Theres been a lot going on in the world lately, it's hard to really keep up with anything nowadays since everything seems to be going faster and faster.  I've been a bit less active blogging lately since i've been working on a few other projects asides from school, as well as getting a new marketing job.  After I write this post i'll be doing a bit of blog reading and update my other blogs before I go to sleep.

I guess most people reading this blog aren't going to be doing any trick-or-treating.  Once you get to a certain age early in high school, Halloween becomes more about getting f*cked up and hooking up with a chick wearing a skimpy costume.  I hope you all have a safe time... And not OD over the weekend.  I'll be going to Dooms Night this year, and so i'm going to post some of the most epic electronic music anthems in the past few years.  I'll probably add some more hot girls since its Friday too.

I wish I saw this live, EPIC.

You may or may not like Trance Music, but it has been one of the most popular genres of electronic music today.  Starting off with a classic, Carte Blanche, puts most of the trance music created today to shame, and even the best songs have trouble matching this epic-ness.

Dash Berlin have been doing really well in the past few years, and songs like these are why they have become so popular.  This song is really one of their best songs, but they have a lot of other really good ones too.
Last song I am posting on Trance by Gareth Emery vs. Above & Beyond.  This track is beautifully done, and they are still one of the best progressive and vocal producers around.  Make sure to check out some of their other tracks if you have time.  Make sure to check out the original mix which is also quite good.
H a r d s t y l e (s)
Not exactly Hardstyle, more like Hard Dance, but still very good track.  Dj Lee vs Megara are one of my favourite combinations, and a lot of their old tracks are really good as well.
The Noisecontrollers, this is real hardstyle.  Sure some might argue its part of the Nu-Hardstyle and does not compare to the old school hardstyle in the early 2000's, but they're still pretty good.
Like what your seeing so far?  Click Read More below to hear some more really great miscellaneous tracks.

Epic track by Rank 1, one of the best trance anthems produced in the last few years.
Truly one of my favourite songs of all time.  A must listen
LAST song of the night, a good way to end it if you got this far.  Thanks for reading.

Awesome Nostalgia : Part 2

Hey everyone... I've been slightly sick for the last day, haven't done much blog reading but I am going to do that after I write this quick post and also update my FINANCIAL BLOG and also my PRINCIPLES OF POWER BLOG.  I've been reading some of your suggestions in the comments box, and will make this post more satisfying and nostalgic than the other post.

I'm pretty happy that a lot of you remembered some of the things I blogged about, and I will continue to work hard on creating good and relevant content on all of my blogs. Thank you for all of your continued support and great comments, I look forward to reading your blogs soon after.  Anyways, enough talking, and more awesome nostalgia.

Final Fantasy

I believe this is a good video to listen to while reading the rest of this post.  You probably know by now, but the era of Squaresoft and the earlier Final Fantasy games were probably one of the highlight of my childhood.  There have been no other games that I miss more than these ones.

Books from the 1990's

@ Internet Explortion - You mentioned Goosebumps and the t.v. show/movies.  I did read some of them and watch the shows, but there were also some other classics that I am going to now post and talk briefly about.  These are the books that gave you that fuzzy feeling, making you not want to sleep but instead stay up underneath your covers with a flashlight and read until well on into the night.

You can't forget Roald Dahl books such as : The BFG, The Twit, Fantastic Mr Fox, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and more.  Those were really damn good reads, they're all still in a box somewhere I hope, pass them on one day...

Also Captain Underpants? That was pretty hilarious, comic book style reading mixed with novels.  Also PET FORCE!!  Jesus that was a sweet book, and man I could go on forever but i'll stop here, and maybe continue on some other time.  If you didn't nostalgia here, keep reading and you'll find something you like.

Cartoons

Unfortunately Embedding was disabled upon request, but if your interested, watch the Japanese opening, it is a lot better than the English one although the animations are the same.

Cartoons... An essential part of many of our childhoods.  I remember waking up in the morning as early as 7-8am to get an early start watching mornings cartoons.  Although if I was absorbed in a good game such as Chrono Trigger, Super Mario RPG, or the like, sometimes I missed out.

Personally some of my favourite cartoons back when they were good... Unlike the crap they feed the kids today, would probably be (In no particular order):

Pokemon - Good stuff, after rewatching some clips now that i'm older, it feels as if the creators were on crack while they were writing and producing the episodes.

Ren and Stimpy - Hilarious, I also remember playing the games on Sega Genesis LOL

Pinky & The Brain/ Animaniacs - Funny as hell, BONUS POINTS if you remember the computer game that came out in the mid 90's, i'll post a picture of it if I find it.

Tiny Toon Adventures - Haha.. I think the pictures should jog your memory

Recess - Watched it everyday before heading to school, wishing that it was actually that exciting

Bobby's World - Didn't watch this as much, but the kid was really lovable

Clifford the Big Red Dog - I used to wish that I had a dog like Clifford

The Simpsons - Back when it was epic, and each episode was like a movie.

Again, I could probably go on forever here, but i'll stop here for now, which leads me onto the LAST SECTION of this post....

ONE HIT WONDERS

Yep... One hit wonders.  Occasionally we'll hear them and instantly an outburst of memories will reveal aspects of our youth that we have forgotten.  And finally, I believe its important to reflect sometimes and retrace your steps, think about the things you have done well, and the things you have done wrong, and continue to look forward.

Writing this post has been very fun for me, and I hope you enjoy it too, if you want to listen to a few more one hit wonders,  click READ MORE below.... I know you will ;)

I'm Back : A bit of Awesome Nostalgia - Part 1

Hey bloggers, I took a one-and-a-half day hiatus from blogging to recuperate, but i'm back and here to post new and IMPROVED awesome content.  Lately i've been busy as hell with midterms, term projects, assignment, and other things, while still maintaining my three blogs, HOWEVER I withdrew from one of my Criminology courses to lessen the workload that I have been keeping up with!  I'm going to be doing a TONNE of blog reading today to catch up, just woke up and its 3pm already, perhaps order a pizza, and get some s^&% done.

Anyways, i'm going to write this post on some of the things that you may or may not remember from the past that makes you feel that wonderful (or hated?) feeling of nostalgia.  This is going to be a longer than usual post (+ More original... lol) to make up for yesterday, i'm sure one of these things you will remember.  What makes you NOSTALGIA?

Simply the best RPG I have ever played in my whole life.  Amazing story, gameplay, replay value, and the only thing I can say is when the heck are they going to come up with a new sequel??

Please watch this video if you are a fan of Chrono Trigger/Cross.  Very beautiful orchestra, always makes me smile.  Also they are coming to Vancouver to play, tickets are sold out though..

One of my favourite books of the 90's, it's not as in depth or crazy as some of the material from the 80's, but the story was very intriguing and I read every single book and became somewhat of an animal nut during the same time.  I still have my collection somewhere hidden away, i'll probably pass it down to my kids or something.

Remember when Shaq played for the Orlando Magics with Anfernee (Penny) Hardaway?  Basketball was better back in the day, with Jordan, Barkley, Shaq, Bird, etc.  I miss those days.

LOL.... This was my first halloween costume ever.  Heres the HD opening to the series, if you still remember this then you are likely feeling pretty old right now.  I hope I hit a vein with this one.

To be continued.....

*EDIT* 2nd to Last Friday Before Halloween! ( Thanks Nikolas )

Hey everyone, its the last Friday before Halloween, and i'm going to dedicate this post to a mixture of hot girls and the usual awesome content that you are probably already expecting.  Today was a pretty damn busy day for me, finished writing a 10,000 word entry in my English portfolio for a lit class, and that consumed most of my week.  However I did spend some time and updated both of my blogs, Principles of Power and also my Financial Blog.  So make sure to check it out. Also I'll be doing most of my blog reading now and tomorrow, looking forward to seeing good new content

L A S T   F R I D A Y  B E F O R E  H A L L O W E E N  !

Last post I ended it with a funny Dragonball Clip....I found this to be pretty damn funny too!

Lol after watching that DBZ video I suddenly remembered about this funny Pokemon one.  Watch the whole thing if you have time, it's probably the best video i've seen thus far

Just For Laughs

Just For Laughs is a Canadian comedy show that originated in Quebec.  It's pretty damn funny, theres no actual lines and the jokes are created purely from what you see on the video.

I didn't really enjoy it before, but lately the quality of the videos have gotten much better, so if you have a bit of time to kill and want a few laughs, check these out:

Funny Prostitute Skit

Worst Thing that Could Happen in a Waterpark

If you liked what you saw above, heres a compilation video of some of the best clips in HD!  Skip the first one clip, it's not very funny and actually kind of annoying

Thanks for all the great comments on my last post, i'll be doing most of my blog reading later on tonight after I complete my English paper.  Looking forward to reading some good posts!\

*edit* LOL heres one more video I can't resist posting:

My Ears Hurt... But Still Awesome

Was just driving home, following the speed limit, minding my own business, when I hear an odd roaring sound exploding from behind me.  What was it?  Three super cars ripping it down the road, creating a symphony of beautiful noises that were like music to my ears.  The up-shift of the gears and the whine of the exhaust, inspired me to write this post, hope you enjoy.

This is SR Autosport's (Richmond) Blue Gallardo, my personal FAVOURITE colour, absolutely awesome.  Words can hardly describe it

Anyways, i'll finish off the rest of this post by posting some really nice cars that were spotted recently in Vancouver, it seems that lately there are more and more of these super cars on the road.

If you want to start a business tuning exotic cars in Vancouver, theres not much competition right now, it's basically SR Autosports.... And they're making great business right now, as you will see below....

Theres a black Veyron in West Vancouver now....

Very menacing

Lamborghini and a GTR

Following up to the Gallardo above, this R8 is absolutely sick, I would probably choose it over the lambo

Absolutely stunning, this has to be one of the nicest R8's I have seen anywhere

Hope you enjoyed this post, look forward to doing some more blog reading as soon as I complete a few more assignments!

Amazing Anagrams

Anagrams are truly amazing.  I wonder sometimes if people realize subconsciously that they are creating words with a layer of language that can be reversed, manipulated, and subtly changed to create a new meaning.  As someone who reads a lot, and is fascinated by word-smithing, I find this to be truly awesome.  This is a bit different from my usual posts, but hope you enjoy

An anagram is basically rearranging the words out of order to create a hidden or different meaning.

Clint Eastwood an anagram of Old West Action? Someone once said, "All the life's wisdom can be found in anagrams. Anagrams never lie."

If you want to try something interesting, search up an online anagram analyzer and try searching up a few words that are meaningful to you. Maybe your name, your girlfriends, favourite actors, movies, quotes, anything.

Here are a few that I find to be quite amazing and interesting:

Dormitory = Dirty Room

Elvis = Lives

Listen = Silent

The country side = No City Dust Here

Evangelist = Evil's Agent

The eyes = They see

Desperation = A rope ends it

The Morse Code = Here Come Dots

The Meaning of Life = The fine game of nil

Astronomers = Moon starers / No more stars

A domesticated animal = Docile, as a man Tamed it

And some quotes...

Quote by Vonnegut:

Just because some of us can read and write and do a little math, that doesn't mean we deserve to conquer the universe. =

A masquerade can cover a sense of what is real to deceive us; to be unjaded and not lost, we must, then, determine truth.

(by Cory Calhoun)

Mr. William Jefferson Clinton, former President of these United States of America =

Monica flirts. Wife sees hot jism from cad land on fat intern, set to rule free empire

(by Joe Kline)

And Some Longer Ones...

The Curse of the Ring (from The Lord of the Rings)

In the land of Mordor, where the shadows lie,
One Ring to rule them all,
One Ring to find them,
One Ring to bring them all,
And in the darkness, bind them.

=

Who fears Nine Morgul men,
A lot of bandit demons,
The gathering torrent,
And Him, one Dark Lord
Sheltered within His hell?
Men, blind to the One Ring.
(by Michael J. Mateyka)
Ennyn Durin Aran Moria. Pedo mellon a minno.
Im Narvi hain echant. Celebrimbor o Eregion teithant i thiw hin
