I'm Back : A bit of Awesome Nostalgia - Part 1

Hey bloggers, I took a one-and-a-half day hiatus from blogging to recuperate, but i'm back and here to post new and IMPROVED awesome content.  Lately i've been busy as hell with midterms, term projects, assignment, and other things, while still maintaining my three blogs, HOWEVER I withdrew from one of my Criminology courses to lessen the workload that I have been keeping up with!  I'm going to be doing a TONNE of blog reading today to catch up, just woke up and its 3pm already, perhaps order a pizza, and get some s^&% done.

Anyways, i'm going to write this post on some of the things that you may or may not remember from the past that makes you feel that wonderful (or hated?) feeling of nostalgia.  This is going to be a longer than usual post (+ More original... lol) to make up for yesterday, i'm sure one of these things you will remember.  What makes you NOSTALGIA?

To hit things off, one of the best songs of the 90's

If you don't like rock and roll, listen to this while reading the rest of this post haha

Simply the best RPG I have ever played in my whole life.  Amazing story, gameplay, replay value, and the only thing I can say is when the heck are they going to come up with a new sequel??

Please watch this video if you are a fan of Chrono Trigger/Cross.  Very beautiful orchestra, always makes me smile.  Also they are coming to Vancouver to play, tickets are sold out though..

One of my favourite books of the 90's, it's not as in depth or crazy as some of the material from the 80's, but the story was very intriguing and I read every single book and became somewhat of an animal nut during the same time.  I still have my collection somewhere hidden away, i'll probably pass it down to my kids or something.

Remember when Shaq played for the Orlando Magics with Anfernee (Penny) Hardaway?  Basketball was better back in the day, with Jordan, Barkley, Shaq, Bird, etc.  I miss those days.

LOL.... This was my first halloween costume ever.  Heres the HD opening to the series, if you still remember this then you are likely feeling pretty old right now.  I hope I hit a vein with this one.

To be continued.....

Chrono Trigger/Cross vid sounds a lot like something Dirk Brossé would write. Not so much a fan of the pianist's ABC non-moving interpretation; but, it's an orchestra... they're robots... the conductor should have given her more freedom rather than conducting that section 1 2 3 4 A B C D snore snore snore snore. Love the post though. Good to see you back!

Heyyy. Sweet blog. :)

Thanks for your comment, I replied on there but I'll reply here too. I did make my layout and it's very simple HTML. I pretty much designed it in MS Paint. I don't really know how to do anything better haha.

Cool, but only know the song of Nirvana, that band was a mess. And the first picture seems like those games for computer (very bizarre, lol)

Huge animorph fan myself. Got nearly all the books save for a few including all of the side novels. Totally hated the ending but still a great series.

For me in the video games department, Mario Kart 64 and The Legend of Dragoon are nostalgic for me. Many a childhood day spent playing those two. And Animorphs were the shit. I would go down to the goodwill and they'd have TONS of them, and I'd pick up 4 at a time for a buck. I think I have at least the first 40 all the way through, then I started slowing down the collecting with all the spin offs. I loved the Andalite chronicles and the The Ellimist Chronicles as well. I even had the choose your own adventure books that animorphs had.

I love Chrono Trigger, I don't know how many times I've played through it, and it is still the best RPG in my book. It has definitely stood the test of time.
