This and the other Dr. Quantum movies are great for making you go "WTF" very easily. I like how it takes something people might have heard before and presents it in a new and well animated way.

quantum mechanics makes my brain hurt, makes me think no matter how much we figure out about our world we'll never really understand anything

Sounds like Chaos Theory almost....and it's Bill Nye the Science guy for the new generation!

WHAT, an interference patter. lol that was a good clip.

Wow....that is just something....never knew about that and its freaky to think how something on such a small level could be altered by simple observation.

Not gonna lie, I hit play expecting to be entertained, and what I got was mind-blowing knowledge. That's so crazy that electron's do that!

Whoa, he's got the Matrix on his blackboard.
When did learning from animated Quaid-sounding entities become popular? This looks like a bit of money went in to it.

Drackar said...

this has always been a "wait, what, how does that work" part of science for me.

Wow this is pretty awesome.

haha yeah, quantum mechanics is amazing. Trying to imagine the universe before the big bang and after the big rip will also cause your mind to get sick. Nothingness is hard to imagine.

This is much better than Barney and Teletubies together, I couldn't understand it very well, but I'm sure a kid would.

Longkid said...

wow interesting. Feels like science class all over. Except I care.

is this... real?

Quantum physics make no sense O_O, did they actually lead to major technological improvement yet?
when they do, i hope it'll be something crazy, like teleporting, or something like that...
